Obligations of the installer and operating company
The fan may only be operated at permissible ambient and airstream temperatures of -20 to +50 °C and only if fully mounted.
The fan must be regularly inspected and maintained by a qualified person, as described in these instructions.
Cleaning and maintenance intervals should be determined by the operating company in accordance with EN 60079-17 – frequency depends on ambient conditions and anticipated limitations. Shorten the maintenance intervals in the event of dust or a corrosive atmosphere.
Additional safety regulations should be observed during installation and operation, e.g. in accordance with the following directives and regulations:
- EG Directive 1999/92/EC, ATEX 137: implemented in Germany with the Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health.
- EN 60079-14: Design, selection and erection of electrical installations.
- National accident prevention requirements.
